Do you require contracts?
No. We believe in doing a good a job. If we do well, then you will stay. If we don't do well, then we feel uncomfortable taking your money. For this reason, we do not use contracts to ‘lock you in.' You can quit at any time. No hassles.

Where do you offer classes?
Beretania (1259 S. Beretania St. #20) and Kahala (Kahala Elementary School.)

Can we come by and watch a class?
Of course! The whole family is welcome. We offer FREE INTRODUCTORY CLASSES at 1259 S. Beretania St. #20 every Saturday morning. Just look at the schedule of classes for that day and choose the one you want to join. No appointment is necessary. Arrive 15 minutes early and ask for Sensei Bobby. Wear loose-fitting clothing. We will take care of the rest.

How much does it cost?
$125/month. Excise tax is included. All enrollment is done online. Click here to get started. You will need a credit card. Financial aid is available. We also offer family discounts up to 25% off.

Where do I get the uniform or ‘gi'?
From the instructor on the 1st day of class. It costs $50 for uniform and belt.

Why should I go with SMARTkarate versus some other martial arts school?
When choosing a martial arts school, it's best to visit, watch a class or two, meet the instructors and generally get a feel for the place. Each school is different. Each instructor is different. We strive to create a fun, family-oriented environment. We value character development, learning and good health. We want our students to have to the tools and enthusiasm to dream big and do well in the world. We believe being smart is cool. We also believe constant self-improvement is very important.

How do I enroll?

How do I un-enroll?
It's easy. Log in to your PayPal account (the one you created when you joined). Click on the "My Account" tab and then click on "History" tab. Choose "Subscriptions" from the pull-down "Show" menu and press the "Submit" button. Choose the item called ‘SMARTkarate' and click on its "Details" link. You will be taken to a “Transaction Details” page. Click on the hyperlink following “In reference to:” Scroll down to the bottom of the page and cancel your subscription. Canceling your subscription will immediately stop all future scheduled payments for this subscription.

Is it required that I have to register online?
Yes. To keep tuition costs low, we do nearly everything online. It's safe, convenient and inexpensive.

What do we need for the first day of class?
Nothing. Just a smiling face. We will take care of the rest!
